hi, I’m steph.

I’m a writer and editor. Professionally, I work with brands and publishers. Personally, I’m a scuba diver and rubber ducky enthusiast. Politically, I’m pro em-dash and Oxford comma. But we can agree to disagree—I’m open-minded like that.

long live longform.

Don’t get me wrong, I love a good tagline. But my bread and butter is in-depth storytelling: reported features, 10-page whitepapers, verbose brand manifestos… you get the gist.

I write longform content for powerhouse publications like T Brand Studio (NYT branded content), WP Creative Group (WaPo), MIT Tech Review Insights, The Guardian Labs, Quartz Creative, and many more. I also work directly with brands and academic institutions on blog posts, reported articles, whitepapers, and other marketing collateral. My favorite topics to write about are ClimateTech, sustainability, and the future of work.

need to get your ducks in a row?

If you’re looking for content, I’m happy to help. Whether you’re an edgy startup that’s crowdfunding a rad new travel pillow or a multinational corporation replete with acronyms, I understand the importance of thorough research and striking the right tone. I’m skilled at writing, editing, AI editing, and just about anything that involves words (trust me—you don’t want to play me at Scrabble).
